Rochester Phoenix Academy and Care & Treatment fosters and promotes personal and academic growth for all students by establishing high academic and social expectations for individual student involvement within the global community.

Rochester Phoenix Academy, formerly based at and named Burr Oak School, is now located at the Education Services Center.

Rochester Phoenix Academy is a setting 4 special education site that provides programming for students with disabilities and intense mental health and behavioral needs. The programming is designed to meet mental health, behavioral, and academic needs.

Rochester Phoenix Academy serves kindergarten through 12th grade students who are enrolled in the Rochester Public Schools and additional school districts. 

Students are referred to Rochester Phoenix Academy when the Individual Education Plan (IEP) team makes the determination that a more restrictive setting may be appropriate for the student.
